New Year's Eve 2017

Happy New Year! This week Pastor Cody uses the Prayer of Jabez, found in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, as a guide on how we should pray in order to make the most of 2018. You'll also hear testimonies from the congregation on God's goodness throughout 2017.

Unusual Callings--Week 5

Living out God’s plan for our lives requires us to lay down our own plans. Cody and Ashley unpack this truth through exploring the Unusual Calling of Joseph. Joseph was asked by God to step into a situation that would require a great amount of sacrifice but Joseph had a choice, his way or God's way. Listen in to find out what we can learn from Joseph's example. 

Unusual Callings--Week 4

This week Pastor Cody and Ashley spoke on the unusual calling of Mary as found in Luke chapter 1.  Mary's confidence in the face of such a daunting calling was a direct result of her ownership of God's favor in her life. Our ownership of God's favor in our life gives us a boldness to face the seemingly impossible in the midst of God's call.

In this week's episode, Pastor Ashley shares the unusual calling of Zechariah found in Luke Chapter 1. God's call often feels like an interruption in our lives, usually coming at some pretty unexpected times. In this week's message, Ashley breaks down how we should respond to this interrupted feeling in the midst of God's call.

Ashley and Cody kick off their new series, "Unusual Callings" with a message about the unique calling of the disciples in Matthew chapter 4. Missions Sunday

It's Missions Sunday at Village Church! We had the privilege of hearing testimonies from our Czech Missions team that just returned from 17 days in the Czech Republic. We also had the opportunity to hear from a full time missionary couple from overseas share what God is doing in their country. We unfortunately had to edit out their portion from our podcast in order to ensure their safety when they return home.

Palm Sunday: Hosanna to the King

This week at Village Church we learn that Jesus IS our conqueror.  As we read the passages of Jesus coming in to Jerusalem on a donkey, what comes into view is how Jesus conquers our sin in our lives, even though we didn't know what we needed.
